HOW BIG IS A WORD PROCESSING FILE?
  1. Create a new folder, and in the folder, a new empty Word Processing File using NOTEPAD. Save this document using the name "EMPTY.TXT"
  2. Use SAVE AS to make a new copy of the file called "10Char.TXT". This time, type the numeric characters "0123456789" and use FILE SAVE. This file should have exactly 10 characters stored in it. (NOTE - Do NOT use the ENTER key in this assignment, or your character count will be off)
  3. Using Copy/Paste and SAVE AS, create a series of files with exactly 100, 1000 and 10000 characters - save them under the names 10xxx.TXT, 100xx.TXT 1000x.TXT and 10000.TXT
  4. Close the files and go to the files to determine their EXACT filesizes.
  5. Record the results in a GoogleApps SPREADSHEET on your Gmail account - create and format appropriate TITLES and labels. What conclusions can you draw from your results? What can’t be explained? Include a brief explanation for your results.
  6. SHARE the results to your teacher (as a viewer) to submit it.
